I don't remember the storylines or even who Tom Peterson was (I would have been in junior school when this was originally broadcast), but this is the TV listing for the episode of Crossroads that went out 40 years ago today.

I remember watching Crossroads once and my brother freaking me out by repeatedly, and correctly, predicting who the next character to appear onscreen would be. Turned out he'd sussed that the cast list in the TV Times was in order of appearance.
