Footballers’ Wives star and soap veteran Gary Lucy, 35, has teased fans that a revival is on its way.

When quizzed on a Footballers’ Wives return, the hunky actor told Now magazine: “Maybe in some form… watch this space is all I can say.

“It was an outrageous and fantastic thing to be a part of, so a reunion may be on the cards, you’ll have to wait and see.”

I'm not usually a fan of revivals but this could be fun. I know they killed off a few of the principal cast but most of the characters made it out unscathed, so there are plenty of possibilities of who could return.

If they brought the cast back plus new people, I'm all for it! Even if it is to wrap up the series finale. But naturally I'd be fine if they continued with season 6 and on!
