Drumming up a dramatic thunderstorm in the village of Emmerdale (then Beckindale), 27 years before another big storm caused damage to the village. The 1977 one didn't have any casualties, but caused a falling tree to cause damage to a young couples' home, and almost caused the premature birth of their baby. Why are moments like this forgotten when they do retrospective programmes about Emmerdale? 30 years of..., Emmerdale at 40..., etc... (These type of programmes only seem to focus on happenings from the last 10 years).
