Ah yes, Britney Spears. And Ricky Martin too. But most of these 90s/2000s hit-artists have (sort of) disappeared, unlike 1970s legends like David Bowie, who kept recording almost until the day he died.
I think Take That is one of the few bands who improved themselves over the years, solo or together.

No. I never saw or heard anything about that (I haven't heard or seen anyone say it was a suicide or any possibility of it) I'm just looking at this logically and something is not quite right.

BTW, I just now discovered that he had a song called "Last Christmas" (I know nothing if GM's discography).

I think the song was released awhile ago... but it's kind of foreboding, isn't it?

I think it just feels that way because they were still in the prime of their lives and their deaths were completely unexpected. Plus there's the feeling of an end of an era to lose heavy hitter music icons. Numbers wise, it probably wasn't all that different from other years.

Having read his boyfriend's bizarre statement that he had fallen asleep in his car so he hadn't been with George when he died, I agree that something definately seems off about it. He seems to be implying that he and George did not spend Christmas Eve together, which is odd, but I suppose he may have driven alone to visit his own family and stopped somewhere afterwards to rest because he was too tired to drive or had too much to drink. Okay fine, but why would he feel the need to publicly shout from the rafters that he wasn't in the room at the time of George's death? Makes me wonder if George accidentally took an overdose of a shall we say "performance enhancing" drug or some sex game went wrong and the boyfriend has made up a cover story.

Oh well, maybe that wasn't true either.
I guess there'll always be speculations, since there were no witnesses.

To be honest I don't know much about his private life, but apparently he didn't take care of himself i.e. drugs and reckless behaviour. Sometimes the body can't take it anymore.
A member here had posted that he wasn't surprised to learn about GM's death, so I guess there were already things going on.

But that's still a lot of guesses & apparentlies.

The sleeping in the car story was part of his statement about his account being hacked and the forged posts about him saying it was suicide, but who knows what's accurate. Yeah, I'm not sure that we'll ever know exactly what happened.

In 2008, George Michael apparently gave an interview saying something like "in 10 years I'll have to be propped up."

If true, perhaps he knew he has a limited shelf life. Sometimes people do.
