I admire your tenacity my friend! I feel the same way with a lot of the things I learned. I’ve forgotten so much. And let’s face it, so much of the stuff we were taught in school growing up is stuff we don’t use that often. I think self discovery is how I learn most of it, better known as messing up! Or maybe we do remember but chose not to listen LOL Thank you Lashes! The time is the biggest challenge, yes. There just aren’t enough hours in a day unfortunately. I notice it’s easier to write in the day because that’s when I have more energy so I’ll try to write when I get home from work. But the problem is my mind seems to be more creative later at night. I’ll lay there before I go to sleep and all these thoughts start coming to me out of nowhere. The good thing is what I’m writing is based on a true story so it’s easy to pick it up again and move on. Thank you! It was actually under my nose for years and I always wanted to do it but I needed time because what I’m trying to write is my mother’s life story. It’s difficult, but honestly nowhere near as difficult as I expected. The biggest question I had to ask myself was would anyone else even want to read it but now that doesn’t even matter to me anymore. It’s just become something I have to do. It’s a recollection of stories, conversations, a ton of laughter, a little tragedy, a son’s stubborn dream, and a mother quite often left shaking her head. Luckily, no. But they do record our speed, eye movement, whether or not we’re using a phone or our scanners while driving, how fast we brake and accelerate, tailgating, and apparently the last moments of some Floridian iguanas. I do wonder if we have any good lawyers here on TT. DFF might need their help. No problem my friend! And thank you for the Happy 4th wishes, belated or not!! I didn’t mean to scare you Lashes. I’m just under a lot of stress right now due to the upcoming trial. I do hope they let me finish my book in TT prison. At least I’ll have more free time then.
