Thank you! I guess I’ve always been fascinated with numbers now that I think about it. Math was definitely my favorite subject in school, after lunch and recess of course. I’d say that was pretty smart! Did acting it out help when it was time to count the change for real? I bet it did. I have a waitress story that’s really embarrassing. One time I was walking to the table in a restaurant and I totally collided with a waitress carrying a tray of plates and glasses. I felt terrible! I mean her entire tray just went everywhere. A lot of people laughed but I felt so bad for her cause she was so embarrassed. She ran back into the kitchen to hide as I tried to apologize to her cause I honestly thought it was my fault. I even told the rest of the staff that so she didn’t get in any trouble. Looking back on it now, it was kind of funny though. At least I hope she can laugh about it now and isn’t still hiding out in that kitchen. This sounds like a real mess, but I’ve never understood how people can be so unprepared for the bad weather when it arrives. It’s very similar here with the hurricanes. A lot of people are never ready for it until the very last hour, and this is something we go through every year. I do like to rub it in at Christmas time when I speak to my family up in the northern part of the country as they’re getting bombarded with snow. I like to remind them they’re building snowmen while we’re building sandcastles. I have to say these comments don’t go over too well. And a much longer flight for me LOL!! I’ve looked at it online though and it does look beautiful! Italy is at the top of my list and that’s being talked about with family members as a possibility for next summer. I’ve never been there and I have so much family there I’ve never even met so I’m kind of looking forward to this if it finally happens. Thank you for saying that because sharing what was my ridiculous childhood outlook on the different time zones isn’t always easy to admit. At least I can laugh about it now. Nah, that’s not something you should be ashamed of at all! To me it’s called planning ahead because you were afraid to fail. There’s nothing wrong with that. I hope you were able to get some rest! That’s definitely what I plan on doing most of the weekend as it was a very crazy week at work. And have a safe trip and enjoy the weekend! Everyone else here have a great weekend as well!!
