I don't think you would. You've got the climate. Just looks a bit silly here especially when our weather's really cold which it can be. That really is a great story. Good job it didn't last too long. I can imagine how embarrassing it must have been with you being visible but as you say it was so nice to know by-standers were concerned. I wouldn’t be ashamed! So many people in your situation would. Even if we think we wouldn't, no one knows unless faced with it. I was stuck in a lift once with my husband and son. It was only momentarily but my son freaked out and wouldn’t go in a lift for some time afterwards. Of course I want to hear about it. Another brilliant story DFF. Yes, I bet you get that often. You really should be writing a film about the confessions of a delivery driver! You really could get yourself in some right pickles. So you should be at the centre of the universe! My goodness, you really have been through the wars and suffered a great deal of pain I would imagine but you carry on through it. You deserve a medal DFF. You're like an unsung superhero. I do hope your customers appreciate you. Will some of them spoil you at this time of year, do tips still exist in your job? Would love to see that, infact I would pay money to. What an eventful time you have. After a day like that I bet you can't wait to get to the quiet safety of your home. Then you have to face it all again the next day! Your job certainly provides many challenges for you. Oh bless you DFF, yes it's funny how we have these dreams but it just doesn't work out. It's not meant to be I guess. Loved reading about your safe haven baseball pitch. I wanted to be a gymnast and as a VERY young girl I was pretty good. My favourite was the beam and trampoline. Then growing up got in the way and I wasn't disciplined enough to continue with it. It's nice you had your mum's backing. My parents were encouraging but always allowed an easy get out which was good but didn't offer ambition or determination. Yours is a wonderful story and I really do enjoy reading it. I'm glad you're still good at it. Can be hard having to face up to the fact it's not for us and we aren't as good as we were. If I could be in a room on my own I would love a sneaky go on the trampoline. I'll give the beam a miss though. I'm no where near as gracious as I was and definitely haven't got the same co ordination. Couldn't possibly put the beam through the trauma either. I don't think I ever could run out of things to say about Dallas. Some might say I'm sad, but I prefer your description that I'm passionate. It's lovely to hear my posts can remind you of scenes or dialogue you'd forgotten. I find that too when threads are busy. I'll continue to think of any old thing to keep those Dallas threads going. Hope you're keeping well DFF. Your presence has been missed these last few days. Hope to see you here real soon. Have a lovely Christmas and a good rest. Take care for now. Same goes for everyone else here too. Take care and Merry Christmas!
