I appreciated their attempts to update the story where they could, and I liked some of the new scenes they added, like where Jane cuts Blanche's hair and Blanche scolds Jane because she doesn't like it. It was little things like that I could appreciate their reach for something slightly different, even if their blueprint was basically the same. The Redgrave sisters had nothing on Davis and Crawford, though. Nothing. </blockquote>
