James Woods, conservative actor, retweeted his disapproval of a new Armie Hammer movie about a gay romance between a 24 year old and a 17 year old (the age of consent in some states is 16). Woods even made a NAMBLA reference.

Hammer tweeted back that Woods had dated a 19 year old when he was 60.

And then Amber Tamblyn (Russ's daughter, for those of us of a certain age) joined in and asserted that Woods tried to pick her up in a restaurant years ago and take her to Vegas, and when she told him she was only 16, Woods responded, "that's even better!"

Then Woods eventually responded by saying his relationship with a 19 year old was "legal" (no one is mentioning 17 is legal in some states) and that Tamblyn's story is "a lie".

Woods then replied to another Twitter user who called him brave and asked him how much "crap" he got "for voicing the truth about Armie's new movie?" In his reply, he noted that he was aware of the day's digital feud but that he didn't care much. And he complimented Hammer.

"Somebody told me the libs are yelping. Troll traffic is up. I don't pay any attention really. I like Armie Hammer as an actor though. A lot," Woods posted Monday night. "Okay, now I want all my little trolls to put on their onesies and go to bed! Final word on this: I don't give a shit what liberals think."
