Not to make this thread DYNASTY-centric -- let alone fantasy-DYNASTY-centric -- but I want to learn that Cecil's gold-digging showgirl girlfriend/wife, Choo-choo (so nicknamed years before the accident) of whom his family vehemently disapproved, was killed in a horrific crash at a train crossing one night on her way to or from his Nine Oaks estate. 1966 seems the perfect year. But Cecil is suspected as having set it all up, or perhaps congressman Bradley Milburn, Choo-choo's jealously vindictive ex. Her head not found for days, some 300 feet from the wreckage. And it's all dredged up in Season 10. With obvious parallels to Mansfield's collision in 1967. That crash is so utterly mid-'60s in its dark, hot, humid, insect-riddled ambiance that I almost can't express it. Mansfield had been dead 22 years before 1989, so we probably couldn't cast her. But if Teri Copley could play Diamond Cook, who could play Choo-choo? Asking Mariska Hargitay just seems distasteful .
