It's funny how Dynasty never did anything as stupid as it was all a dream. Even Fallon's alien encounter was acknowledged as a hallucination. Bobby should never have been killed off permanently. A coma for a later revival, his car abandoned in an open field- gone. Faked his own death due to witnessing a hit/murder by some powerful goons. I like the latter. Bobby going to his car one late night, witnesses these goons kill a guy in cold blood and he sees every single one. Bobby is killed, but its not by Katherine. Now this works two ways- IF Duffy did not want to return, he can stay dead, but since he did, the seeds for his return would be easy. If Katzman wasnt such a hack, he would have done it. At his funeral, Miss Ellie reads a mysterious letter we never know the contents of until later. Instead of the idiot shower scene, Pam is abducted by some goons who we think are the same group that "Killed" Bobby. Taken to a cabin in the woods, she's fearful until a guy with a mask walks in, peels it off- BOBBY EWING- alive! "The reports of my death were greatly exaggerated." Pamela shrieks and hugs him and then slaps his face for the pain he caused. He explains why it had to be done.
