Katie Holmes ‘kept Jamie Foxx romance hidden for years to pocket £7m from Tom Cruise divorce clause’
KATIE Holmes' decision to hush up her relationship with boyfriend Jamie Foxx until exactly five years after divorcing Tom Cruise meant she trousered £7million, according to US reports.
The former Dawson's Creek actress was seen holding hands with Oscar-winning actor Jamie while enjoying a quiet stroll together on a Malibu beach on Monday.

US website Radar Online alleges Katie and Jamie Foxx had to keep their romance hidden to abide by a divorce clause
Their romantic outing came five years after her divorce from Tom was finalised in August 2012 - which has led to an old report from Radar Online about Katie and Tom's alleged divorce deal resurfacing.
According to the website, Katie agreed not to publicly date another man for five years in exchange for £3.6million in child support and £3.8million payment for herself.
An insider claimed: "Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce.
"She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri.
"[She] got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”

Neither Katie nor Tom have ever addressed rumours about their divorce.
The couple married at an Italian castle in November 2006 and had one daughter together, Suri, who was born in 2006.
But their love affair ended after five years when the couple split in 2012.
Katie and Jamie are thought to have been dating since 2013, but have kept their romance under wraps amid the alleged divorce clause about dating in public.
They have always claimed to be "just friends" - until the pictures of them holding hands in Malibu this week.
Even following the photos, Jamie remained tight-lipped when quizzed by Splash News video cameras the day after he was seen with Katie.
Despite persistent questioning about whether he and Katie are an item and the cameraman pointed out they "looked cosy on the beach in Malibu", Jamie just smiled and refused to comment.
