I remember thinking then how I wished I had a Blu-ray player and I would have bought this set to see Marilyn in all her Blu-ray glory. But didn&#039;t have one. Until now. For starters, this set is slightly disappointing. While the packing is slim and beautiful, I am left a tad unsettled that this set doesn&#039;t offer a fuller representation of Marilyn&#039;s work. Sure, it has eight of her films, but it leaves out two of her most pivotal: Niagara, the movie that propelled her to superstardom, and Bus Stop, the first film she did after returning from the Actors Studio. Of course, both of those movies have been released on Blu-ray individually, so I just bought them separately from this set. Although I would love to see The Prince and the Showgirl digitally remastered for Blu-ray, I wasn&#039;t saddened that it, along with Let&#039;s Make Love, were left out of this set because their the weaker links in Monroe&#039;s filmography.&nbsp; I&#039;m going to start making my way through this set and I&#039;ll post my thoughts on these Blu-ray transfers here for you all to read. <img src="https://images2.static-bluray.com/movies/covers/46688_back.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Marilyn on the arm of Marlon Brando in 1955.
