One woman was walking her dog within 10 feet of him as he was literally standing right there in a standoff with the police. My neighbor next door to me was the biggest offender though. She was walking her dog as well while her husband pleaded with her to go back inside. He asked her what she was even walking the dog for at this moment and her answer was that the dog really had to go so what else could she do? Okay, I get it. So did it ever occur to you to take the dog into the backyard instead and not towards an armed suspect? Her husband looked at me and we both shook our heads. </p><p></p><p>Luckily nothing came out of it and it turns out he wasn’t armed at all, but of course no one knew that yet. They had just had a very loud argument and he hadn’t even laid a finger on her thankfully. The whole thing was kind of blown out of proportion and the cops told the rest of us it was fine to go back to our lives and come out of our houses and they would be keeping an eye on this guy for awhile just in case. So a lot of it was a big misunderstanding but it just really irks me when people do dumb things that put their lives in jeopardy and ignore basic orders.</p></blockquote><p></p>
