Are ghosts real? ... This is the question as this brand new BBC series features and investigates real-life stories of supernatural encounters told by the people they happened to.

Writer Danny Robbins is the host and is also the host and writer of hit BBC SOUNDS podcasts:- The Battersea Poltergeist and The Witch Farm.

He is joined by sceptic Dr Ciaran O'Keeffe and parapsychologist Evelyn Hollow who pick apart the details of each case to try and work out what might have happened.

I'm really enjoying watching this because I like a good story and also because it leaves you questioning the evidence. The investigations are thorough, balanced and respectful and it's left up to you to decide if you believe or not.

The main thing I've learned from this is that the human brain is very complicated.

I find this kind of stuff highly entertaining. I mean, I have my beliefs and I’m a person that needs an abundance of evidence before I believe these kinds of things but the subject matter does fascinate me.

The main thing I've learned from this is that the human brain is very complicated.

It’s very complicated, and any little thing can further complicate it. All of our brains work differently and our minds can play tricks on us, yet there are so many things out there that can’t be explained no matter how hard we try.
