He was 35.According to <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2018/01/30/mark-salling-dead-suicide-dies/" target="_blank">TMZ</a>, which was first to report the news, the Glee alum’s body was found near a riverbed in the Sunland-Tujunga neighborhood of Los Angeles.Salling had been awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in December to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor. He had previously agreed to serve four to seven years in jail, in addition to registering as a sex offender and staying 100 feet away from schoolyards, parks, public swimming pools, playgrounds and video arcade venues.The actor’s sentencing in the case was set for March.<a href="http://www.tmz.com/2017/10/16/mark-salling-suicide-attempt-cut-wrists-child-porn-plea-bargain/" target="_blank">TMZ</a> reported that the actor previously attempted suicide by cutting both of his wrists in the bedroom of his home in late August 2017.
