Lipstick and Guy are taking great care of their eggs. I'm not 100% sure but I think Lipstick laid 4 eggs in all with the first egg not surviving. Its hard to tell exactly how many because we are not getting a good look at the eggs. Here she is doing an egg-roll ^^ I can see two eggs, although the nest is deep and hides the exact number. Guy is very attentive, he's back and forth to the nest every few hours to let Lipstick have a comfort break and bring in a steady supply of food for her. Here is Guy popping in to say good morning before taking over from Lipstick to sit on the eggs .. ^^ he seems to sleep in a nearby tree keeping a protective watch on Lipstick and the nest. --------------------------------------------------- No sign of any eggs yet with Liberty and Freedom. They keep dropping back to the nest for brief visits, although they're not sleeping there. Here they are this morning .. "one, two, three and lift!" Poor Liberty appears to have an injury, she has been holding her left foot up .. "give us a kiss darlin'" I'm still hoping Liberty is able to produce some eggs this season
