Likewise, if a person asks for forgiveness of being gay, I do believe he/she should turn from their ways (the Bible tells us to become a new person in Christ) in order to stay pleasing to God. We can&#039;t be what we want to be and live our lives they way we want and still expect to be pleasing to God. That isn&#039;t how it works.</blockquote>
