Since I know what to expect by now I have no-one to blame but myself. Taste almost prevailed and I came extremely close to switching off a few minutes in, the second or third time someone said &quot;shopping maul&quot;.&nbsp; But then Celia Imrie&#039;s name popped up on-screen which confused me into watching.

The plot is thinner than ever and the characters thicker. The songs are abysmal. Seven year old British kids singing in terrible faux American accents and trying to give attitude. There&#039;s no Pam Ferris this time, either.

Despite having Martin Clunes, Catherine Tate and half the cast of Victoria Wood: As Seen On TV (Celia, Susie Blake and Duncan Preson are present and correct, with the latter two playing Tate&#039;s parents), the entire film centres around the useless, annoying lump carried over from the first two.
