They decide to go to prom together as friends, but things get complicated when Mandy tries to befriend Graham, the son of a US senator, to get him to ask his father to write her a reference.&nbsp; Along the way, Mandy learns that there is more to life than getting into her dream university, and that love, friends and loyalty can be more important.
