Dang it! got all excited then but I am in the UK

Exciting! There's been speculation that some music rights in season 5 might cause some trouble, but they must've been resolved.

Hopefully Knots Landing is next as it's the only major prime time soap that isn't streaming.

[JROG]

Finally! And, yes, hopefully KNOTS will follow.

I never understood where the rumors about music rights came from. It's one of the oldest myths that has been spread among the fans for decades and it simply has zero grounds. Music rights for "Falcon Crest" were never an issue.

So how's the quality? The S1 screenshots that they put next to the 18 season 1 episodes look like awful SD quality, so i doubt anything has changed in that matter.

And someone had to make VERY sure to underline that Chao-Li Chi is in it:

[Chris2]

Yep - definitely SD and not HD from the episodes I’ve seen so far.

[JROG]

Guys, ain't nobody taking the time, effort, and money to convert FALCON CREST to HD! We're clearly lucky it's streaming at all.

And someone had to make VERY sure to underline that Chao-Li Chi is in it:

LOOOOL! Could it be one of the posters from here who listed Chao Li as a standout character? Hmmmm.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the seasons unreleased on DVD? Better than the existing TV/VHS rips? My VPN won't allow me to access these on Amazon Prime.

And where is David Selby in the cast?
In Spain dubbing rights expire after two years.
That is why in Spanish cinemas they do not replace old movies.
Not even tv series
By the way, does anyone know if Falcon Crest was broadcast in a South American country?

[ChrisSumner]

This is such fabulous news! I’ve wanted to do a full rewatch for years now. I’m already three episodes into season one and excited for the rest. It’s also nice seeing the reactions on Twitter from people new to the show.

I watched a tiny bit of season 5 and 6 episodes last night. The quality was clear although not HD.

Good news for American fans. Perhaps in time there will be streaming, for Europe.

"A toast to you Falcon Crest and long may you live!"

Great, thanks!

[FinalFlesh]

I've still yet to see season 9. Hopefully I can find a way to access these. I'd rather watch a clear copy over the existing rips.

I'm downloading the IMDB TV app on my phone, and I'm gonna give it a spin to see how it goes.

I would guess these countries for international broadcasts: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom. I might be wrong on some of them though.
