Or these two?
That's Crystal tips and Alastair.

can you name all these?
Humpty!! Thought the doll was Hamble, but don't recall her looking like that. Was Ted just Teddy! I can't remember, maybe I'm getting them mixed up with something else?

I wasn’t sure if it would be you or @Barbara Fan who would remember their names. I managed to remember 3 before I had to look it up. I couldn’t remember one of the teddy’s and Humptey.

I didn't look any of it up.

Gold star for me please even though I couldn't remember all their names, I did remember the rest and the advert!

I remember watching Belle and Sebastian. I used to cry at the theme tune!
Must have been repeated in the 70s as it originally aired before I was born.

My first introduction to a programme that was dubbed.

There was another programme on around the same time which was also dubbed. I can't recall the title but think it was just a name of someone.

And my Dad used to buy me necklaces made out of sweets

If you dribbled they ruined the neck of your T shirt and stained!

My 1st perm aged 15 I looked like Crystal tips (thanks Victoria P, I followed you! - split ends for a year)

Play school was Wee ted, Big Ted, Humpty, Jemima and Hamble - who just had to be the ugliest doll on the planet

She was worthy of Steven King film where a doll terrorises little kids - she just wasnt cute at all and I remember her like this (with Derek from Corries wife)

Id kill to have one of these again

Oh I had the pencil tops - blackberry, sweetcorn and radish or maybe it was an apple, used to chew on them I think!!

I liked a Count Dracula ice lolly, but my fab was a Fab or a Strawberry Mivvi

re Radio 1 - My Nan in Kent lived near the sea side and every summer would go to the R1 roadshow, I loved it - big day out and always hoped to get picked for Bits and Pieces quiz or Smiley Mileys guess the distance
Saw amongst others

Peter Powell - fantastic legs!
Simon Bates
Mike Smith
Adrian Juste
and some of the "stars" playing included Chas and Dave, Kim Wilde (and peter Duncan from Blue Peters parents!! Ive still got photos in the albums and quite a lot of Peter Powell and his legs and short shorts

I used to spend ages doing this to get a neat finish and you'd get an insight into what other peoples houses were like when you saw their wall-papered books, not that I was nosy or anything . .

I used to help run the Tuck Shop at Senior school ..

I totally did. I also had wallpaper in my desk where I kept my stuff. Like this:

Our desks at school looked like this:

Our classrooms were like this:

At least until 6th grade when we got the White Board instead of Blackboard and also new desks so we had to keep our stuff in a locker.

P.S. I found these photos online.

Schools in my day were extremely old fashioned and very outdated. Old wooden desks with an inkwell.
Boys separate playground finally mixed with girls just before I started secondary school.

Only ever knew blackboards and was often the recipient of teachers who chose to throw the heavy wooden chalk eraser as a punishment or used a ruler to hit the back of the knees!
