I think we now have pretty much all existing versions of the opening (German as seen on TV and the unused one, the different Italian ones, French, Quebec). Obviously not all the different seasons and maybe we are lucky one day to find some more.

Spain, Portugal, the Nordic countries and many others usually showed the original openings of US shows with the local title just superimposed like the subtitles (or spoken over the theme!).

However, apparently there is one Spanish version where the title (California) was written on a California license plate (a bit like LA Law). I’ve seen this mentioned in a few different places but have never seen it.

Also, I wonder if there’s a version of the opening used in Italy when Knots was first shown as “Da Dallas a Knots Landing”.

I was lucky enough to see it once though I haven´t got the clip. And yes, it was a bit like "LA Law"´s.
Edit to add that the one I saw was from Canal 9 (País Valencià) and it was dubbed into Spanish.

Did you know that “Knots Landing” was released in Portugal with the follwing title: “Laços de Família” (Family Relations)? The series was first broadcast on the Portuguese TV channel SIC in early 1993 and still has a small fan base today. There is a lot of discussion about the Dallas spin-off in some Portuguese television forums.
I have a few press reports from Portugal. Lisa Hartman and Michele Lee were popular there. In the magazines “Correio de domingo” and “TV Mais” I discovered, among other things, double-page reports of the two actresses.
What surprises me: In the Portuguese television magazines, episodes of the 8th season were described as episode number 31. Either the magazines miscounted, or several seasons were withheld from the TV audience in Portugal, as had already been done in Catalonia...
In the neighboring country of Spain, "Knots Landing" was shown with the title "Califonìa" from 1992.

Ticket to Knorts Landing - a special promo where a random phone number got selected and if the person could answer a question from the episode they would win a vacation in Europe. (Yes they actually displayed people’s phone numbers on national TV).

It was the most popular show at some point in time. There was only one main channel on cables Knots was on daily (Sunday-Thursday), 8/9pm.
This should be from 1993. Cable TV was just implemented so they wanted to give new subscribers a chance to catch up with the show
Show ran from 1992 to April 1994 I believe.
Then was reran 6 days a week around 3pm.

I do somewhere… I’ll post when I find them.
There wasn’t that much - mostly poor translations of American articles like the last episode and the bitch is back for the reunion
