Carroll was a regular on both shows.&nbsp; With Robert Vaughn and Noel Harrison making crossover appearances.&nbsp; But the influence of Batman and the lightness of the spin-off show are suggested to have contributed to the demise of The Man from UNCLE.&nbsp; The Man from UNCLE became a lot less serious because of Batman.&nbsp; The spin-off was cancelled and in it’s final episodes, it became more serious again.&nbsp; Richard Anderson mentioned Leo G.
