R.&#039;s Piece" data-source="post: 264805" data-attributes="member: 12"><p>Steven E.  De Souza says on the DVD commentary for the last episode that he got a call, which said that Lindsay had asked for him to write the last episode of the show.  And he was told that it was a rare opportunity to bring the show to a close.   He said he sat with Lindsay and she talked about what she wanted to do.  He said she talked about wanting the show to end, losing herself,  the demands the studio put on her and she no longer knew who Lindsay Wagner was, as opposed to the fictional character.  So he says he took all those things and put them into the psychology of her character.  He said he was drawing on things she was saying and channelling them back into the show.</p></blockquote><p></p>
