In fact I think it helps that she&#039;s not covering the same ground as other Miss Marple actresses as there&#039;s less temptation to directly compare. I&#039;d say she played it very much as Margaret Rutherford, and since I&#039;m quite fond of her I enjoy the films on that level. I also adore Ron Goodwin&#039;s foot-tapping soundtrack, especially Miss Marple&#039;s theme, which is a favourite of mine (I love playing this in the car while whizzing along country lanes).
