"Beat me on the bottom with a Woman's Weekly": All things Victoria Wood

It's a really beautiful film which was really made to be seen on the big screen. The print appeared to have been taken from a recording on ITV (over the end credits there was even an announcer telling us that <em>Taggart</em> would be on after the break), but this added to the charm no end. There was also a little talk before the film, with some background on the background and the filming (one beach scene set at Christmas was filmed on a warm day, apparently leading to some dialogue being included about it being unseasonably warm, but if it was in the film, I missed it). </p><p></p><p>My previous comments about the film still stand.
