My favourite soap of the 90s was the post-Knots/pre-Desperate Housewives series Sisters. Central Park West really felt like a modern Dynasty, until they actually turned it into a new Dynasty, and then it failed. And they also lost their key character Stephanie (Mariel Hemingway). I also enjoyed Savannah and Hyperion Bay. I've watched Melrose Place when Jamie Luner joined the cast (because of her Savannah-fame) and thought it was so-so with a few exciting moments. But to me it never felt as big as Dallas and Dynasty. 2000's: Everwood, Boston Public and Footballer's Wives (the guiltiest of all guilty pleasures) Judging Amy was partially courtdrama so I don't consider it a traditional soap (but it was very good!) 2010's: TNT Dallas and Gran Hotel
