And that it's not just the North American fans that matter. For too long she was stuck in a very middle of the road place. This new album seems to at least be taking some risk in her sound. There was some of that on the last album with Sia etc, but the majority of Loved Me Back To Life was way too drippy weak R&B ballads which I just don't think work for her. It's great to hear on more contemporary sounding tracks and it's also great that that rasp is gone. It didn't work for her.</p></blockquote><p></p>
