I always thought he was doing quite a good job so his sacking was a big shock. I suspect Chelsea have a big name manager lined up already to take over and the rumour is that it will be Thomas Tuchel, formerly of Paris Saint Germain.

Chelsea to appoint Thomas Tuchel as manager after Frank Lampard is sacked

Chelsea have sacked Frank Lampard after a disappointing run of results, with former PSG and Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel in line to replace him

Chelsea have had more managers than hot dinners in past few years

No one in footbal will last as long as Wenger and Alex Ferguson, its cut throat especially at Chelsea - if i think of them I think Mourinho still as manager

I always thought Frank needed more experience in the lower ranks - before joining a prime time premier league side like Chelsea from Derby Co
