A fine actor that always delivered. Cliff was a unique character in that he would run of the gamut of hate, rooting for and laughing with/at. I like how they did the Cliff/JR antagonism. Cliff wasn't always the focus, but in the background and vice versa.  Lots of lesser shows have a constant antagonist and it usually flames out of gets redundant real quick.  I was a little surprised they made him so mean in the sequel series. Not that it hurt anything, but it was a route I didn't see it going.</blockquote>
