It is thanks to this meeting that Sable's cousin, Alexis Morrell (16), meets Philip's older brother, Cecil (22). Furthermore, it is through this meeting that Alexis meets Blake Carrington (23), son of Zeke Carrington (50) and Fallon Carrington (46). While Cecil was born rich and has a rich future ready to be handed to him, Blake is clawing his way up the financial ladder, which is what makes him far more interesting to Alexis. Thus, she ditches Cecil in favor of Blake.</p><p></p><p>Meanwhile, Philip ends up ditching Sable once he sets eyes on her younger (and potentially half) sister, Helen (15). Philip and Helen have a whirlwind romance that results in the two of them eloping, Sable informing her sister that she never wants to see her again, and Helen's father disowning her. Philip brings his new bride to the Colby Mansion in Bel Air, much to the disapproval of his parents, though they welcome Helen anyway (the fact that Helen's father disowned her swayed the Colbys' decision). The day after Philip turns 18, he is promptly shipped off to the military. Helen is now alone in the Colby mansion with her father/mother-in-law (both of whom are polite but distant), sister-in-law Ruby (25; and who follows her parents' example) and brothers-in-law Cecil and Jason (24; who is also the only one who goes out of his way to be friendly to Helen).</p><p></p><p><strong>1955</strong> - Blake (24) and Alexis (17) get married. Two days later, Philip Colby (19) returns home on leave. Helen, deeply guilty and ashamed, throws herself at Philip and has sex with him as often as possible in a desperate act to silently redeem herself to him. Once his week is up, Philip Colby returns to the military with a big smile on his face. Two months later, Helen happily writes to Philip that she is pregnant (the notion that Jason could possibly be the father doesn't even cross her mind; after all, it only happened once; she slept with Philip everyday for a week). Cecil keeps quiet about his younger brother's letter. Meanwhile, Ruby Colby (26) writes to Sable Scott (17), informing her of the situation. Instantly forgetting her vow of never wanting to speak to Helen again, Sable flies out to Bel Air and arrives to comfort her younger sister during her time of need. He says that she must leave not just California, but also America and the entire Colby family - including Geoff. Helen does so, although throughout the years, she would write hundreds of letters to her son and send him gifts - all of which were horded by Cecil. He never let the poor confused child know that his mother was still thinking about him all these years. Meanwhile, the rest of the Colbys, while initially perplexed by Helen's disappearance, arrive at the conclusion that the confirmation of Philip's death must have been too much for her, so they remember Helen with pity.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Episode 5:</strong></p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>1964</strong> - we don't see this happen, as it's only mentioned in passing, but Helen Colby (25) gets remarried to some rich old man in Europe.</p><p></p><p><strong>1965</strong> - It is the 10th anniversary of Blake and Alexis Carrington (34 and 27, respectively). At the party, at which Cecil Colby (33) is a guest, staring down from the staircase banisters are Geoff Colby (9), Fallon Carrington (7), Steven Carrington (6 - or at least, on the verge of turning 6) and Victoria Anders (5). The four small children observe the world of grownups, wondering when it will be their time to join.</p><p></p><p>All these years, Blake and Alexis have become known as the "ideal" couple, with Blake's business growing ever bigger and ever richer... except it wasn't enough. He always wanted more. And that meant longer working hours, more business meetings, more traveling... resulting in wife Alexis feeling incredibly neglected... and driving her into the arms of one Roger Grimes, who was working on a project with Blake and Zeke (62).</p><p></p><p>Roger was also having an affair with Alexis' younger sister, Cassie Morrell (26). For a while, neither sister knew this, with Cassie making the discovery first. In an act of pure jealousy and spite, she watched and waited until the ideal moment came: the day after having a night of passion with Alexis, Blake went on yet another business trip (the previous night had been an act of "farewell sex" - only neither realized just how permanent the "farewell" part would be), and Alexis summoned lover Roger to her side. Cassie wasted no time in secretly contacting Blake, informing him of his wife's infidelity, and when and where he could find them in a compromising position.</p><p></p><p>Infuriated, Blake abanoned his trip and returned to Cedar Abbey, where he found to his enraged heartbreak that Cassie spoke true: Alexis and Roger Grimes were together in her and Blake's marital bed. Blake's anger got the better of him, and he started beating Roger, and had to be stopped by Joseph (34). While Joseph helped Roger leave the room, Blake turned on Alexis and ordered her to pack her things immediately and get out of the mansion, and never return, stating that he was going to pay her to stay away like the cheap whore that she was.</p><p></p><p>Alexis desperately turned to father-in-law Zeke, but he sympathized with Blake and supported the divorce, saying that it was probably for the best. However, upon learning that Blake intended to keep the children away from their mother, Zeke agreed that that was taking things too far. He agreed to help Alexis say farewell to her children - but he'd do so one at a time, out of worry that Alexis would try to run away with both of them. First, Zeke arranged for Alexis to meet with Steven, who at this point was only three days away from turning 6.</p><p></p><p>Later, at night, Zeke brought Fallon (7) to the cabin where Alexis was having Roger Grimes convalescent. It was raining that night. Zeke leaves Fallon in the cabin with her mother while he goes back to his truck to wait. While Alexis tries to explain things to her daughter, she also ends up getting into an argument with Roger, who spitefully reveals that he had never been in love with Alexis, having slept with her only for a few laughs and that he had more important plans in store. Alexis is so thunderstruck and hurt, unwilling to believe that her whole perfect life had been shattered by something so meaningless. She grabs at Roger's gun, but he manages to knock it out of her hand - simultaneously causing Alexis to fall and hit her head, passing out, while the gun slid over towards Fallon, who watched the proceedings with horror. Upon seeing Roger lean threateningly over her mother's motionless body, Fallon picks up the gun and fires at Roger, killing him.</p><p></p><p>Zeke, upon hearing the shot, dashes back inside, and, after assessing the situation, convinces Fallon that she's just dreaming, having a nightmare. He guides her into the bedroom and tucks her in, reassuring her that she'll wake up back in her own room soon enough. Zeke then returns to the main area where he checks on Alexis, who has a steady pulse, much to his relief. He makes a phone call for an ambulence to come out here to take care of Alexis. Knowing that he still has enough time before they arrive, Zeke turns his attention to Roger's dead body. He wraps him up in tarp and string, drags him out to his truck and drives towards the lake, where he sinks the body. Zeke returns to the cabin once again, and does his best to clean up the blood (it's possible he even improvises by finding some of Alexis' paint and tossing the red one around). When the paramedics arrive, he explains that there had been a burglary but his daughter-in-law managed to fight them off - but not without sustaining a potentially serious injury.</p><p></p><p>Alexis is taken away in the ambulence, and Zeke takes the still sleeping Fallon back to Cedar Abbey, without either group knowing the other was ever there.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Episode 6: [SEASON FINALE]</strong></p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>1966:</strong> Nine months after the Roger incident, Alexis (28) gives birth to Amanda. Alexis has no idea who the father is: either Blake Carrington (35), Roger Grimes or the ski instructor she met when she first left Denver. However, she realizes that regardless of who the father is, if Blake found out about Amanda, he'd take her away from Alexis. Unwilling to let that happen, Alexis already made arrangements for Helen (27) to take the baby.</p><p></p><p><strong>Note:</strong> <em>I know in the original, Alexis gave Amanda to Rosalind, but I decided to condense things a little and have it be Helen instead</em>.</p><p></p><p>Meanwhile, Bliss Colby is born to Sable (28) and Jason Colby (36), the former being greatly relieved to have a child whom she knew was genuinely Jason's child.</p><p></p><p>Alicia Anders (28) is finally released from the instituion, and, in a first step to get back on her feet, gets a job and becomes roommates with an older white woman. Alicia would confide in her her whole past; talking about it allows her to figure out what she wants her goal to be: to become the kind of mother her daughter can be proud of. After getting herself a new name, "Dominique Deveraux," she erects a gravestone in the local graveyard with the name "Alicia Anders" with the dates "1938-1966" to symbolize her own rebirth.</p><p></p><p>Dominique then leaves to find her own fortune, starting in a night club and warbling her way onto a cruise ship, where she meets Garrett Boydston. They have themselves a heated romance, although Garrett warns Dominique that he is already married (though it's a strained marriage, as he says). Dominique is fine with that, as she's not looking for commitment at the moment; just a little something to take the edge off. They part ways, never to see each other again... until 20 years later.</p><p></p><p>At the same time, Blake Carrington (36) is sticking his toe back into the dating pool by taking up with Hollywood starlet Diamond Cook (22). Blake does not consumate with her, explaining that he's not ready, as it's only been a year since his wife left. Plus, he has his young children to think about; he couldn't possibly become serious about somebody so soon after the divorce. Diamond doesn't have a problem with any of that... especially since she's also been carrying on with Buck Fallmont (36).</p><p></p><p>Emily Fallmont (27) discovers her husband's infidelity, and decides she doesn't want a divorce (after all, she cheated too). Instead, she confronts Diamond, who is staying in the bedrooms above the Carrington garages (at Blake's insistance, saying that with Fallon (8) and Steven (7), they would need some boundaries). Emily also brought Diamond's back alley doctor in case of a histronic response - which Diamond does indeed have, resulting in her doctor giving her an accidental overdose.</p><p></p><p>The next day, Diamond's dead body is discovered, and though Blake tries to keep the story under wraps, it still gets exposed to the media, creating quite the scandal - and there had already been on surrounding the Carringtons with the loss of its matriarch.</p><p></p><p>Around this time is also when Steven becomes seriously ill (probably due to the stress of losing his mother, with everything else exacerbating it), with Blake taking the time to look after his son, taking care of him and reassuring Steven that, even if Alexis had gone, he, Blake, was still there, and he'll do anything to help his boy.</p><p></p><p>(<em>Interesting to note that this happens in Steven's bedroom... the very same one that Blake would one day kill Ted Denard in... an act that results in the return of Steven's mother.</em>)</p></blockquote><p></p>

However, upon learning that Blake intended to keep the children away from their mother, Zeke agreed that that was taking things too far. He agreed to help Alexis say farewell to her children - but he'd do so one at a time, out of worry that Alexis would try to run away with both of them. First, Zeke arranged for Alexis to meet with Steven, who at this point was only three days away from turning 6. Later, at night, Zeke brought Fallon (7) to the cabin where Alexis was having Roger Grimes convalescent. Upon seeing Roger lean threateningly over her mother's motionless body, Fallon picks up the gun and fires at Roger, killing him. Zeke, upon hearing the shot, dashes back inside, and, after assessing the situation, convinces Fallon that she's just dreaming, having a nightmare. When the paramedics arrive, he explains that there had been a burglary but his daughter-in-law managed to fight them off - but not without sustaining a potentially serious injury. Alexis is taken away in the ambulence, and Zeke takes the still sleeping Fallon back to Cedar Abbey, without either group knowing the other was ever there. Episode 6: [SEASON FINALE] 1966: Nine months after the Roger incident, Alexis (28) gives birth to Amanda. Alexis has no idea who the father is: either Blake Carrington (35), Roger Grimes or the ski instructor she met when she first left Denver. However, she realizes that regardless of who the father is, if Blake found out about Amanda, he'd take her away from Alexis. Unwilling to let that happen, Alexis already made arrangements for Helen (27) to take the baby. Note: I know in the original, Alexis gave Amanda to Rosalind, but I decided to condense things a little and have it be Helen instead. Meanwhile, Bliss Colby is born to Sable (28) and Jason Colby (36), the former being greatly relieved to have a child whom she knew was genuinely Jason's child. Alicia Anders (28) is finally released from the instituion, and, in a first step to get back on her feet, gets a job and becomes roommates with an older white woman. Alicia would confide in her her whole past; talking about it allows her to figure out what she wants her goal to be: to become the kind of mother her daughter can be proud of. After getting herself a new name, "Dominique Deveraux," she erects a gravestone in the local graveyard with the name "Alicia Anders" with the dates "1938-1966" to symbolize her own rebirth. Dominique then leaves to find her own fortune, starting in a night club and warbling her way onto a cruise ship, where she meets Garrett Boydston. They have themselves a heated romance, although Garrett warns Dominique that he is already married (though it's a strained marriage, as he says). Dominique is fine with that, as she's not looking for commitment at the moment; just a little something to take the edge off. They part ways, never to see each other again... until 20 years later. At the same time, Blake Carrington (36) is sticking his toe back into the dating pool by taking up with Hollywood starlet Diamond Cook (22). Blake does not consumate with her, explaining that he's not ready, as it's only been a year since his wife left. Plus, he has his young children to think about; he couldn't possibly become serious about somebody so soon after the divorce. Diamond doesn't have a problem with any of that... especially since she's also been carrying on with Buck Fallmont (36). Emily Fallmont (27) discovers her husband's infidelity, and decides she doesn't want a divorce (after all, she cheated too). Instead, she confronts Diamond, who is staying in the bedrooms above the Carrington garages (at Blake's insistance, saying that with Fallon (8) and Steven (7), they would need some boundaries). Emily also brought Diamond's back alley doctor in case of a histronic response - which Diamond does indeed have, resulting in her doctor giving her an accidental overdose. The next day, Diamond's dead body is discovered, and though Blake tries to keep the story under wraps, it still gets exposed to the media, creating quite the scandal - and there had already been on surrounding the Carringtons with the loss of its matriarch. Around this time is also when Steven becomes seriously ill (probably due to the stress of losing his mother, with everything else exacerbating it), with Blake taking the time to look after his son, taking care of him and reassuring Steven that, even if Alexis had gone, he, Blake, was still there, and he'll do anything to help his boy. (Interesting to note that this happens in Steven's bedroom... the very same one that Blake would one day kill Ted Denard in... an act that results in the return of Steven's mother.)
