In this case, I want to know what non-romantic duos you like. Actors with great chemistry and who are not playing lovers or ex-lovers. Maybe it's two women playing best friends, two men playing enemies, a man and a woman who plays adversaries etc etc.

I am watching Bridget Jones' Diary, and I absolutely love Colin Firth & Hugh Grant together, especially their brilliantly funny fighting scenes. That's when I started thinking about other dynamic duos.

So, who are your favorite non-romantic dynamic duos?

I'm not sure if this fits the criteria, but here goes:

Brett Somers and Charles Nelson-Reilly were panelists on the 1970s hit game show Match Game. They were seated next to one another and bounced jokes/insults/barbs off one another so readily, someone reading the transcripts would think they were an old, bickering married couple. Of course once you saw them on the show you realized CNR was flamingly gay (though the show kind of tap-danced around it) and Brett was his trusty 'hag'. This chemistry was off the charts, and the host (Gene Rayburn) wisely stood back and let them do their thing.
