What are some of your favorite logos, and which don't you like so much?

My absolute favorite is Universal.
The music is excellent, especially when you're in a cinema with huge surround sound system. But also, the globe lighting up is also magical for the eyes. And the feeling you get from this logo is pure excitement.

I am conflicted though about which version of it I like best. I don't like how they updated the music towards the end, but the update looks better.

The logo for SF (Swedish Film Industry) is another favorite of mine.
But as with Universal, I am conflicted between the old version and the new. The old version comes with so many memories, but the newer one looks better. But for sentimental reasons, I am leaning towards the 90's version.

Current one comes in two versions:

The old 90's version:

Alfred Newman's 20th Century Fox Fanfare in all its variants is a classic. Obviously.

But I can't get enough of a version from 2003 which was reworked to include a whisper of John Ottman's X-Men fanfare:

I love how it makes it even more bombastic.

One of my favorites: Columbia's Sunburst/Abstract Torch logo of the late 70s-early 80s.

As a child in the 1970's I always liked Hanna-Barbara's logo of that time.

Japan's Toei with the ocean is one of my favs.

Hong Kong's Golden Harvest of the 1970's

Hong Kong's Shaw Brothers

Bumping this up: I'd like to explain why I chose the ones I did, and why they are my favorites.

It is because they are from a time when just one major studio was on a film, and you didn't have multiple logos that you had to sit through before you got to the main feature. Whether it was the Sunburst/Abstract Torch or 80s Torch Lady of Columbia, or the Blue Mtn. of Paramount, or any other classic studio logo, you seemed to always know what you were getting and who was behind it; the designs of these classic logos helped to make sure you knew.

I love how WB incorporated their famous shield into the movie imagery in the 50s and 60s, before the generic sky took over as permanent background.

Bumping this up: here's one more I remember-- Warner Bros.' "Tubular W," from All The President's Men in 1976 (pardon the monochrome, but that's the way I got it, and may have been the way it actually was on that Redford/Hoffman classic; captured from Warner's DVD of that film)...

One more of the ones I like-- MGM/UA's Vortex (three versions-- one with no transition; one going to the MGM lion; and one going to the 1987-94 UA logo):
