When Clinton became president, they didn't lampoon him as much, although they did make some jokes at his expense. So it was a bit partisan then, but not as pronounced as the revival was. Another problem with that revival was that the news cycle had changed a lot, and moved a lot faster than it did in the 80s and 90s. So usually the behavior they decried in the episodes was usually months out of date, and old news by the time the episodes aired.</p></blockquote><p></p>
