I have never quite got over the fact he left Chelsea and will always think of him as their manager but is the Special One's time up at Man Utd? And i have to ask are the players really trying, they are way over paid and they owe it to the fans who turn up match after match to put in a good performance. And it shouldnt be about egos https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45772318 Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is undoubtedly under pressure. His side have gone four games without a win and are nine points behind Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League. It has led to intense speculation about his position, including one report in Saturday's Daily Mirror that he would be sacked after the game against Newcastle, regardless of the result. However, BBC Sport understands Mourinho retains the support of the club's board and there is no immediate threat to his position. Should he continue in the role? BBC Sport's pundits give their views. 'He is the fault in all of this' Former England, Arsenal and Everton defender Martin Keown: "You just can't see Manchester United turning this around. The five-at-the-back formation in last week's 3-1 defeat by West Ham didn't work and they are all playing as individuals. This is a serial winner of trophies and he's lost his way. He's got to go back to basics."
