Why on earth they extended his contract last season is beyond me. The boring and defensive way his teams play is alien to the club and his abrasive matter always rubs players up the wrong way. His past success was largely the result of having the cash to buy the top players but now other clubs like Man City have even bigger financial resources, Mourinho has been shown up to be little more than a very average manager whose teams play very negative football.
