I'm currently watching The Colbys again because I'm in Dynasty's season 6, so for first time I'm watching both shows in original order and I like it because of crossovers I never really appreciated before. Anyway, I'm watching only one episode of both shows a week and every episode of The Colbys is weaker than Dynasty. I've watched five episodes so far.Jason not dying is lame, at least it was revealed after a few episodes and not like Lucious on Empire after a full season. Overall The Colbys is better than remembered, but there's no must-see in it.What surprises me the most is that it was ordered that way. Dynasty was no 1 not just in total viewers but in demos season before. Did ABC really think 18-49's would enjoy watching old-fashioned Hollywood stars Charlton Heston and Barbara Stanwyck? Among younger characters Fallon is like a stranger, the Colbys children are too boring and I doubt Jeff wasn't the reason twens used to watch Dynasty.</blockquote>
