Despite that I don't know if I would do it all over again or not. <img src="http://yoursmiles.org/msmile/think/m1703.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":think:" title="Think    :think:" data-shortname=":think:" />You see when I graduated from High School I had three possible career options. I still dreamt about becoming a singer. I had not given up that dream yet. But if I wasn't going to become that I considered becoming a journalist or a psychologist. I was actually more determined to become a psychologist at first. My plan was to work one year as an au pair in the US, then go home to Sweden and study five years to become a psychologist at the University. But somehow my mom convinced me to go straight to University after High School instead of having a year abroad and then go to the UK as a summer au pair the next year instead. So that's what I ended up doing. Since I couldn't enter the program to become a psychologist unless I had a year's experience of the job market I enrolled for psychology classes instead. I studied at the University for three years and got a bachlor degree with Psychology as my major. When I took my final psychology course we got a visit by a psychologist who shared his experiences of the job. He talked about uncurable cases and it made me realize that I didn't know if I could handle that. The reason I wanted to become a psychologist was so I could help people. But if they couldn't be helped I wasn't sure I was up to it. I had also studied two courses of Media and communications and I found that very interesting and fun. So I started to lean more towards becoming a journalist instead. Then I got involved with the student TV organization and I absolutely loved that so I decided to go for it. I made my career choice then. It was the right choice for me. But I must admit that there are some days when I wonder what my life would have been like if had become a psychologist instead.  Some days I even wish I could go back and make another choice. I especially regret not going to the US for a year since it was something I really wanted to do. For a long time I thought of doing an exchange year of college there instead of going as an au pair. But it ended up too expensive so I never did.Then again I know that if I would have made a different choice I wouldn't have met some of my best friends. I studied journalism together with one of them and the other one I met while studying languages during the year that I had planned to go to the US. So I guess there's a meaning with the way things turned out. C'est la vie!Also, in your spare time (if you have any left <img src="http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0208.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":lol:" title="lol    :lol:" data-shortname=":lol:" /> )   do you ever draw, sketch or paint? Yes I really enjoy to paint and always have been drawing things. I don't do it often enough anymore but occasionally I still sketch and then color it with acrylic paint. I took a summer class how to paint with acrylic paint when I was 13 years old. So I used to paint regularly when I was in my teens.
