The original Kung Fu took a while to grow on me but I eventually became a devotee.

The article mentions the possibility of the new character being related to Carradine's. Normally I'm in favour of continuations rather than remakes but in this instance I'm not so sure if it can be made to work within the existing canon. Either way, Greg Berlanti being attached gives this a good chance of being a worthy follow-up.

KUNG FU was one of those things I liked the first season of. Although the S1 DVDs infamously cut the heads and feet off of the frame, when S1 had been so carefully constructed.
