I have to say though, what kills musicals for me now is when actors that just aren&#039;t great singers tackle these songs that were written for and performed by people with outstanding voices.I absolutely detested Les Miserables when the movie came out a few years back too. And that show has some beautifully written music in it. All mostly ruined by thin reedy voices recorded on set by people who just couldn&#039;t sing.</blockquote>
