Gail Ramsey out of that cast was later on the NBC sitcom California Dreams, until she was written out in a revamp of the show, where under pressure from NBC execs, the focus shifted from the Garrison family onto the band. (She and Michael Cutt, who played her husband, were dropped to recurring before being written out, while Heidi Lenhart and Ryan O'Neil were written out entirely. Only Brent Gore remained until he left in 1994). Peter Engel interestingly executive produced California Dreams, and he later executive produced Hang Time, where after the first season, most of the cast were eliminated except for a few. (Two of those who survived the cast shake up from the first season, Daniella Deutscher and Megan Parlen, would be there for the entire run)
