They were (probably) in the beginning of the end of their relationship and that may be "felt" throughout the movie. Not to mention that the Juliette Lewis character already wore thin here (it´s similar to Mariel Hemingway´s in "Manhattan") and he has recycled it in a lot of his subsequent work. Anyway, CAM might have failed in so many levels and though, it´s an amazing piece of drama. Being fan of the Landaus and "Space: 1999", I loved his performance here, as well as Anjelica Huston´s, who nailed her very difficult character.</p></blockquote><p></p>
