Resisting the aggression now, protects NATO countries from future Russian invasions.5. Boris Johnson did not tell Zelenskyy not to accept a peace deal, not least because there was never any peace deal offered. If anything, Zelenskyy has been even more hard-line on this than other European heads of states.6. NATO never made any promises not to expand and to suggest it did so people can justify the Russian invasion of Ukraine is plain wrong.</blockquote>
