After the disaster with Sofia wouldn&#039;t she have run a background check on Peter&#039;s unknown stepdaughter and—above all—had a good PI get some photos of her? And how could Angela fail to run a background check on Vince and discover he was married, instead of plunging Emma into yet another romantic disaster? And why, of all people, would she have bequeathed Falcon Crest to Emma in season 9? Did she want Falcon Crest to go under?</blockquote>
