Matt Smith makes a two-part crossover appearance as The Doctor in The Sarah Jane Adventures.  And is briefly scene in a drama about the genesis of the show Peter Capaldi’s eyebrows prominently guest star in The Day of the Doctor, which features return appearances by David Tennant and Tom Baker.  Plus all the previous leads are credited for it.  Peter Capaldi is in Matt Smith’s last episode.  Matt Smith guest stars in Peter Capaldi’s first episode.  Peter Capaldi guest stars as The Doctor in the first episode of Class.  And Jodie Whittaker first appears at the end of Peter Capaldi’s last story.And there are a number of mini adventures and shorts made with David Tennant and Matt Smith as The Doctor. Which in some instances are directly connected and part of their adventures. David Tennant has two Children in Need adventures that in each case slot directly between two of his Doctor Who stories.
