Also although Donna also knew what it felt like to lose a husband her situation was very different from Miss Ellie&#039;s since Miss Ellie was closer to Jock in age, had been married to him since the 1930s, which was 40 + years when he died, ahd three sons with him and she took his death very hard.Donna and Sam Culver had a may-december marriage and she cheated on him with Ray and would have left him and divorced him so she could be with Ray if Sam hadn&#039;t gotten cancer so she returned to him and stayed with him until he died. So it&#039;s not really the same situation after all IMHO.</blockquote>
