This is fast becoming one of my fav TV shows and every week I have to reach for the kleenex - Im late to the party and only started watching it in 2020
I couldnt find a thread on it so I thought Id start one

Its just nice TV with a very skilled group of craftsmen/women bringing some object back to life that is of sentimental value to a family and seeing the joy in their faces is wonderful, emotional and heartwarming. I take my hat off to their skills

I cry weekly.

Is anyone else a fan?

In today's consumerist society, many will sooner replace an object that has succumbed to everyday wear and tear rather than repair it. Countless heirlooms and treasured antiques around Britain lie in storage in varying states of disrepair, and the men and women of the Repair Shop are eager to return them to their former glory. Expert blacksmiths, horologists, carpenters, upholsterers and more pool their talents and resources to restore sentimental objects such as music boxes, vases and clocks to prove that anything can be fixed up to be as good as new again.

I love The Repair Shop and I especially like Suzy who is so warm and empathetic and not afraid to show emotion. The whole show is just pure unadulterated feel-good TV.

I've caught the end of it a few times. As something of a pack rat myself, I love seeing those old things restored and preserved.
