Uh-oh. A lot of people aren't going to like the season finale, even if I feel like it's the logical thing to do.

I was never that into their relationship during the original run although Logan was always a great character in his own right. Flashforward to now and I found their relationship as thirtysomethings - the sex scenes, the casual drug taking, Veronica as the reluctant bride to Logan as the grown up groom - to be the most interesting and meaty aspect of these new episodes.

Killing Logan seems like the easy option to propel the show forward and reading up on the proposed future for the show - the case each Season being the prime focus while Veronica's personal life takes a back seat - it seems like Rob Thomas may have underestimated how important the soapy element of the show is.
