From Hope's point of view, I can completely understand why she is enthusiastic about Carter and has even confessed her love to him. She just wants a one woman man who isn't a psycho, and that's exactly what Carter is. Unfortunately, I can't understand Carter's love for Hope, for which he risks everything. He's risking not only his career, not just at Forrester Creations, but in the entire business, because of Hope, but doesn't even ask himself whether he is just a consolation prize for her because she can't have Finn, or whether she doesn't actually love Liam but doesn't allow herself to trust him again. It's always sad when smart characters get dumb down for the sake of a plot.</p></blockquote><p></p>
